The Displaced Person
Executive producer, Robert Geller; director, Glenn Jordan
Portrays the difficulties of integration experienced by a Polish refugee who arrives with his family at a Georgia farm in the 1940's
Subject: A Masterpiece!
And this was my favorite story, written by Flannery O'Conner, 1954. Excellently portrayed, featuring John Housemann, it is about displaced people coming to the (still old, nothing's changed, xenophobic) South after WW II. A variety of interesting characters. Colleen Dewhurst is the host/commentator in this installment.
This is a must see. 10 stars.
It is in two parts.
